SIZE MATTERS – But how much?
Assessing spider monkeys’ (Ateles geoffroyi) visual size discrimination abilities
Hoi! Hola! Welcome to my webpage.
My name is Anne-Sophie and I’m from the Netherlands, studying Applied Ethology and Animal Biology in Linkoping.
My research took place in a beautiful jungle in Veracruz, Mexico, where I had the pleasure of working with spider monkeys. I focused on discovering the abilities of these monkeys to visually discriminate between different sizes of food and non-edible objects.
Now lets cross the Atlantic ocean to learn more about these amazing animals!
