Ontogeny of diving capacity in young loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta)

My name is Maëlle and I am a French student enrolled in the Master in Applied Ethology and Animal Biology at Linköping University. I have been interested in animal behaviour for a long time now, and I especially want to work with marine animals and combine ethology, ecology and conservation.
My favorite animals are sea turtles (objectively the best ones), that is why I decided to do my Master Thesis on diving behaviour in loggerhead sea turtles in Valencia, Spain!
In this study, I investigated the evolution of diving performances in several groups of loggerhead sea turtles from birth to 2 years old (the little girl on the picture is already 3 months old!).
