I my name is Judith and I am a german masterstudent of the Ecology and sustainable Development program. I have always be interessted in nature, especially plants and the interaction in ecosystems and nature conservation. My thesis project fits therefore, perfectly within my interessts.
I studied the interaction of habitat preferences of grazing cattle and the semi-natural grassland ecosystem. You probably think: I have heard of that before haven’t already a lot of people studied that. And I would agree with that. However, while you can find a lot of studies about the effect of grazing on semi-natural grasslands, the inverse effect of the semi-natural grasslands vegetation characteristics on grazing – more specific the habitat preference of grazing cattle – has been less studied.
