Results

Between 2009 and 2011, eating in bowl increased in frequency, while all other feeding behaviours decreased (change bowl was statistically significant, p < 0.05). Time spent lying increased over time (p < 0.05), while all social behaviours decreased in frequency (lying together & joining were statistically significant, p < 0.05).

In both the 2009/2011 and the 2023 datasets, there is a trend of younger cheetahs (2009 & Group 4) being more social than older cheetahs (2011 & Group 3).
