Pingers: avoiding seals for a porpoise

My name is Rebecca and I am a Portuguese-German student of the Master’s in Applied Ethology and Animal Biology at Linköping University.
I love marine vertebrates and was thrilled when I got the opportunity to combine this passion with their conservation for my Master’s project. My thesis is about these small devices called pingers that help keep dolphins and whales away from fishing nets so they don’t get tangled in them.
