Metapopulation dynamics and habitat preferences of the marsh fritillary butterfly (Euphydryas aurinia) in calcareous grassland

Hello! My name is Isabel and I am a student in the Master’s programme Ecology and the Environment (now called Ecology and Sustainable Development). For my thesis, I studied the metapopulation of a beautiful butterfly called marsh fritillary (Euphydryas aurinia) on the Swedish island of Gotland, in the Baltic Sea. The study can provide information for better area management to protect the species. I hope you find my page interesting and let me know if you have any questions! 🙂
